Card payments are a separate rail from payment requests, not a payment method inside them. Settlement is always in USD: a non-USD amount is converted at the rate stored for that currency and the link is charged in USD, with the rate and the original amount both returned.
Three things differ from the local rail and are worth reading before the first call: the hosted checkout URL belongs to the card platform and must not be pattern-matched, timestamps carry a numeric offset and no microseconds, and there is no 2.00 USD floor — only the minimum on amount itself.
